When setting, editing and overruling a capacity, there is the option of entering an alternative price. There are two options here: a dynamic price or override the price.
This can be used, for example, when an entry ticket is cheaper if one enters just before closing. Note that this does affect things like rebooking via the my environment when used. Rebooking is only possible within the same capacity, but also only for the same or a lower fare (difference in price donates the customer).
Dynamic price
Use this option to link dynamic pricing to the time slot. How to create this dynamic pricing can be found in the Dynamic pricing manual.
Overridden price
A different price can be entered via 'Overriden price'. The price set for the pricekey or on the price type level is then ignored for this time slot and overwritten by the amount you enter here.
